Opening on June 18th from 2pm to 9pm.
Exhibition from June 18th to September 5th 2020
How can artists create during quarantine?
Confinement has been an intermission in our lives, shaking up our perception of reality. If this time was conducive to creation for many artists, it also appeared as an uncertain moment, without external stimuli necessary for the imagination.
This exhibition is dedicated to abstraction, with four major figures of French and Spanish urban art. All of them took advantage of these few weeks to question their art and bring new energy into it.
The exhibition « Abstracted Times » presents around thirty artworks. Individual artworks on canvas and on paper testifying the evolutions operated by each artist, especially last months, favorable to introspection. A new approach of colors appears with ARNAUD LIARD, the discovery of abstraction for ROSH:., the use of different materials such as resin for GREMS, and finally POPAY who confirms itself as an “anti-abstract” painter.
